Great weekend for final JCW Outing of the Season
This weeks visit to Donnington Park brought to an end an amazing season.
We finished as planned in the top 20 with all 3 sessions completed. As the saying goes - you have to be in it to win it, and with many not finishing this was a massive achievement!
The team have set targets and achieved them this year and despite a few difficult outings things have progressed and are fortunately coming together as planned.
2022 was a great year for development on track and a great introduction to the MINI CHALLENGE. Billy and the team will continue their hard work throughout the winter now so they are ready for all that next year brings.

The challenge continues at Brands Hatch GP
It was another mixed weekend for the team as the Brands hatch GP brought more highs and lows once again.
Friday and Saturday were tough but while the car suffered with brake issues, the MINI CHALLENGE paddock was phenomenal with competitors showing great displays of sportsmanship and assisting in an issue that persisted throughout the night.

Finally solved for Race 1 with a change of master cylinder Billy unfortunately went off into the gravel as so many others! Race 2 we were on a mission and we did it. Reaching our goal for the weekend, finishing within top 20.
With a car that seems to have suffered with one issue after another that was a massive achievement which now puts us in a great position to move forward with.Thank you to all those who support our ambitious entry and here’s to more testing and progress for Donington.

Mixed weekend for the MINI CHALLENGE UK JCW at Brands Hatch Mini Festival
Qualifying took place in some of the worst conditions have raced in to date leaving us at the back of the grid.
An oil pressure sensor issue resulting in us retiring from Race 1 followed by 2 further retirements due to drive shaft issues.
Despite the problems the weekend it was another great event and the family friendly atmosphere we have had at both our meetings so far continued.
Billy even got to do his first autograph signing!
A positive end to the weekend, looking forward to the Brands Hatch GP in 2 weeks

Bill completes first outing in the JCW MINI CHALLENGE
In another return to Snetterton Billy and the sutotech Team completed their first meeting in the JCW MINI CHALLENGE.

It was an exciting and interesting weekend for the team. After some initial testing nerves were high after a few issues with setup.
Confidence grew after gaining 24th in qualifying and minor issues were rectified.

Bill finished in 24th for the Race 1 and then climbed a couple of places in Race 2 with some wet weather and steady driving helping him to 21st.

A good weekend all round.

1st in Class at CSCC Tintops Season Opener.
Billy and the Autotech team were back at Snetterton again this Sunday for the Tintops Season Opener for what turned out be a great days racing.

The day took off well for the team, starting out with a P2 in qualifying, after being boosted up from P3 due to driver penalties. However after choosing a dry setup concern started to loom as the grey clouds thickened and rain looked more inevitable for the start of the race.

The Corsa was good off the line and Billy was soon battling the SIMPSON/SIMPSON Peugeot 206 and the ANGIE/CASSAR Honda Integra. Tom Mensley soon took pole position in the Clio and after a good pit Billy found himself just behind the frontrunners.

Billy stayed measured for the remaining 20 minutes of the race and earned himself a respectable 4th place overall and gained some silverware for 1st in Class D.

CSCC Tintops 2019 Season Opener 7th April
Following on from the successful test day at SNETTERTON, Bill and the team return on the 7th April for the opening race of the CSCC Tintop Championship.

As always, there is much excitement surrounding the race and the changes that will come with the new season. Its expected that the Corsa will have more competitors in Class D, while there is more than one newcomer to help mix things up.

Whilst the team is confident, its a big race for all involved!
